Usage: A solvent-based, fast dry paint developed for use on plastic model kits but which can also be used on other substrates. Matt, Satin, Gloss, Metallic, Metalcote and Clear finishes are available.

Substrate: A wide range of surfaces including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard and more (always check on a small test area to check suitability).

Application: Brush straight from the tin or Airbrush with a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to one part thinner. Note that Metalcote colours are designed to be polished when fully dry.

Drying Time: Gloss: 1-2 hours touch dry and upto 24 hours for hard dry. Drying times will vary according to ambient temperature and humidity. Recoat: 6 hours minimum (preferably over night).

Coverage: A 14ml tinlet covers approx 0.3m2 depending on thickness of application.

Clean Up: Brushes: Use Enamel Thinners. Airbrush: flush through using Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Product is permanent once dry.

 

SPECS: Contains Preservatives: 5 Chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1), 2- phenoxyethanol.

Suitable for ages 8+.
 

COMMENTS: Stir well, then shake 30 seconds. Recoat after 6 hours
Check a small area of the surface where paint is being applied for compatibility before covering the entire surface.
Warning: Contains Petroleum Distillates. Combustible, do not store near heat or flame.
Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.
Avoid breathing vapors, use in a well ventilated area.
Avoid prolonged skin contact, wear protective gloves.
If eye contact occurs, rinse with water for 5-10 minutes.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, seek medical attention immediately.
